The spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmaeil Baqaei, returns to attack Italy by stating that “providing technical and logistical support to the aggressors is nothing more than a clear and direct contribution to the commission of an illegal war of aggression of choice, a brazen act of aggression and a serious violation of international law”.
For Tehran’s diplomatic spokesperson, the clarification provided by Italy after the statements by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte represent “a clear contradiction and a fallacious argument aimed at evading responsibility for complicity in a serious illicit act at an international level”. That is, “publicly denying any aid or assistance to the aggressors, while openly acknowledging the “technical and logistical” support that enabled and facilitated the illicit American-Israeli war of aggression against Iran.”
