The Calabrian business world alongside Ecologia Oggi after the attack on the Cosenza warehouse. A crime that provoked an immediate and united response from the leaders of Unindustria Calabria and Confindustria.
Aldo Ferrara, together with Natale Mazzuca and the territorial presidents of the Confindustria associations, expressed “solidarity and closeness to the company, the management and the workers involved”, recalling the need for “full clarity to be made through the work of the competent bodies”. A transition that is accompanied by the awareness of the value of the service performed, essential for the community, and today affected in its operation.
The regional industrial system also underlines how the protection of business, legality and safety represents an indispensable condition for guaranteeing production continuity and trust in the territories.
The position of Confindustria Cosenza, led by Giovan Battista Perciaccante, is clearer, speaking of “firm condemnation” and of a fact which, if confirmed to be malicious, would take on the characteristics of “unacceptable barbarity”. The association expresses closeness to Eugenio Guarascio and the president of the Board of Directors Rita Scalise, reiterating its support for the associated company. «We rely on the work of the police», adds Perciaccante, underlining how legality and safety remain essential prerequisites for the economic and social development of the territory.
