Here is how the top amateur championship will develop over the 34 days scheduled between 6 September 2026 and 2 May 2027: for the 162 participants at the starting line it will be a one-stop race until 20 December, the end of the first round; then back on the field on January 6th of next year to arrive at the first weekend of May when the regular season ends.
In between three midweek shifts: 16 September 2026 (3rd day), 6 January 2027 (18th day) and, finally, the pre-Easter shift on 25 March 2027 (29th day). The championship, as usual, will stop on a couple of occasions: first stop between 21 December 2026 and 5 January 2027 for the Christmas holidays, then second stop from 1 to 13 March 2027 to make room for the Representative Serie D team involved in the Viareggio Cup.
As regards the official time of the matches, they will be played at 3pm until 18 October 2026 (1st – 8th matchday), then at 2.30pm from 25 October to 25 March (9th – 29th matchday) and again at 3pm from 4 April to 2 May (30th – 34th matchday).
