It would have been the 22-year-old rugby player, Domenico Orsino, who threw the lethal punch that hit Antonio Perrotta full in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. This was reported to the investigating judge by his brother Umberto Orsino, 24 years old, during the interrogation held yesterday morning in the district prison of Paola. The two Germans – according to what was learned from the older brother’s story – had arrived at the disco together with a group of friends. And they would have managed to enter the club without paying. Once inside they were waiting to buy a drink when the bouncers approached and asked them to leave. Outside the barricades of the club an argument would have started with Perrotta. The 33-year-old – according to what was reported to the investigating judge – would have had an altercation with Umberto Orsino who would have been hit by Perrotta and Domenico would have intervened in defense of his brother by punching the Fuscaldian in the face. Then the two mallards would have run away, losing track of them. This is the testimony before the judge.
At first, at the time of the arrest before the prosecutor Domenico Fiordalsi, the two brothers aged 22 and 24 – defended by the lawyer Alessandro Gaeta – had made a silent scene. Yesterday, Umberto Orsino provided his version of events to the First Judge of the Court of Paola, Maria Grazia Elia, while Domenico Orsino once again availed himself of the right not to answer questions. The interrogation took place following the arrest ordered by Paola’s prosecutor, Fiordalisi, who entrusted the case yesterday morning to the public prosecutor Micol Bruno.
