“No councilor will be sent away by the majority.” Mayor Vincenzo Voce thus responds to the doubts made known by the President of the Region Roberto Occhiuto who, on the occasion of a public meeting in Crotone, had commented on the transition of two majority municipal councilors to Roberto Vannacci’s party. According to Occhiuto, there is no place in a centre-right majority for those who join Futuro Nazionale, but apparently this is not the opinion of the mayor Vincenzo Voce. «The city councilors vote on what is discussed in the Council based on their ideas, they are free», underlines the mayor who then adds: «One of the two councillors, Vincenzo Familiari, is a dear friend of mine, a councilor who has been on my side for five years, in the past legislature he has always been with me, I also tried to dissuade him from this decision but in the end I’m not surprised that he took it, because he has always been a right-winger and I know the two ideas».
