The accumulation of energy, linked to extreme heat, risks producing extreme weather events in the coming weeks: tornadoes, torrential rains, imposing risks for the territory. It is necessary to divert the resources of the bridge over the Strait of Messina, 14 billion, to secure the regions of Calabria and Sicily, which are very fragile from this point of view, from hydrogeological risk. Let us remember that coastal erosion today is one of the main problems in Calabria: 57% of the Calabrian coast is at risk of erosion.”
