Two seriously injured young people, one of whom, the 16-year-old boy who was crossing the road, originally from Barcelona, is hospitalized with a reserved prognosis in the intensive care unit of the Messina Polyclinic. A vehicle seized and a very delicate investigation to clarify what actually happened on the Marchesana seafront on the night between 7 and 8 September. The other young man, 22 years old, from Terme Vigliatore, is also seriously injured, albeit in less serious conditions.
The carabinieri of the Compagnia di Barcellona and the Terme Vigliatore station, directly coordinated by the chief prosecutor of Barcellona Giuseppe Verzera, work in the utmost secrecy to reconstruct dynamics and responsibility. Among the elements under the lens of the Prosecutor’s Office is that of the possible holding of races with mopeds. A hypothesis currently being tested. The investigators also intend to investigate the possible presence of clandestine betting, a hypothesis which however has not been confirmed at the moment. The investigations of the prosecutor’s office and the police will clarify everything.
