Possible inconveniences on Friday 11 September due to a planned intervention by E-Distribuzione on the electricity grid. In fact, from 8.30 am to 4.15 pm, the power supply to the “Don Blasco” lifting system will be temporarily interrupted.
The stop to the energy supply will lead to the stoppage of the waste water pumping system towards the purifier for the entire duration of the works. Consequently, during the interruption and until the electricity supply and the normal operation of the pumps are completely restored, temporary spills may occur in the stretch between Viale Gazzi and Viale Europa.
AMAM announced that it has already activated the required procedures, preparing a prior communication to ARPA Sicily and the Port Authority, so as to promptly inform the competent authorities and allow the possible adoption of the relevant measures.
