Road accident on State Road 106, near the Pietragrande junction, in the municipality of Stalettì. Two cars were involved in the collision, an Alfa Romeo 147 and a Ford Fiesta. Following the impact, the first car overturned on the road.
Four people were injured, entrusted to the care of Suem 118 healthcare personnel and subsequently transferred to a hospital for further checks and investigations.
The Fire Brigade of the Catanzaro Command, Soverato Detachment, was on site to manage the emergency situation, make the area affected by the accident and the vehicles involved safe.
The Carabinieri and the Local Police were present on site for the relevant obligations, Anas personnel for the restoration of the safety conditions of the road and roadside assistance for the recovery of the accidented vehicles.
In the section affected by the accident, traffic continued on a single lane until the end of the rescue and safety operations.
