Como’s first misstep arrives at Stirpe. Alvini’s Frosinone wins 2-0 and enjoys another dream afternoon, confirming the good things done in these first five days of the championship. The goals from Calò and Kvernadze, which came in the first half, made the Ciociari fly: the hero of the day, however, was without a shadow of a doubt Palmisani, author of several decisive saves. The Como team therefore failed to catch up with Inter and the two Roman teams at the top of the table and were joined at 10 points by Alvini’s team. After just eight minutes Como has the chance to lead the match, but a super Palmisani complicates the plans of Fabregas’ boys. The Italian goalkeeper immediately proved decisive by saving Douvikas’ double attempt: during the same action, Monterisi saved Baturina’s shot on the line. The visitors’ triple chance did not discourage Frosinone who ruined the afternoon of the Como team by taking the lead at the first real attack. In the 14th minute Schmid crossed from the right, rewarding the insertion of the onrushing Calò into the area who shot under the crossbar for 1-0.
Como tries to react, but has to watch its back from the home team’s insidious counterattacks: in the 39th minute, in fact, Butez manages to save the insidious backheel attempted by Raimondo. In the 43rd minute, however, the guests became dangerous with Nico Paz, whose header found yet another prompt intervention from Palmisani. The situation for Como worsens further at the end of the half, when Schmid and Kvernadze make it 2-0 on the counterattack: the Georgian winger arrives in front of Butez and hits it with his right foot. At half-time Fabregas tries to shake up his team, bringing on Kean, Ricci and Rodriguez from the bench. Como created several chances to start their comeback, but the lack of cynicism and the state of grace of Palmisani (also decisive on Kean and Rodriguez) kept the two goals away. Indeed, it was Frosinone who came close to scoring a hat-trick, first with Raimondo’s left-footed shot from outside in the 65th minute, then with Schmid’s cross-shot in the 69th minute. In the final Raimondo’s possible 3-0 goal was canceled out by Chiffi due to an attacking foul on Ramon. Party for the Ciociari; first cracks in the Como house.

Parma arrives at the championship break with a smile. Carlos Cuesta’s boys beat Genoa 2-1 in the Tardini match, valid for the fifth day of the 2026/2027 Serie A, and achieved their first victory: goals from David Romero and Pontus Almqvist were decisive, nullifying Osmajic’s temporary equaliser. The two teams have a rather cautious approach to the match, but in the 13th minute the guests become dangerous with an insidious cross from Ellertsson, which Frendrup almost misses. The rossoblù continue to push and in the 17th minute Osmajic, launched by Bijlow, creates trouble in the opponent’s rearguard: the attacker leaps past Troilo and kicks with his left foot, finding opposition from Diego Carlos. The home team struggled to build a game plan, but in the 38th minute they managed to find the opening goal with David Romero: the Argentine got rid of Ostigard and struck Bijlow with his right foot to make it 1-0. Parma, galvanized by the goal, squandered a great chance to double the lead in the 42nd minute with Touré, who sent the ball high from an excellent position. At the end of the 3′ of injury time, we went to half-time with the score at 1-0.
In the second half, Genoa tried to start again strongly, making themselves dangerous with a header from Messias, which however was neutralized by the ducal rearguard. Daniele De Rossi tries to rely on substitutions to subvert the flow of the match and his choices bear the desired results. In the 70th minute, newly introduced Colombo provided the winning assist for Milutin Osmajic who, face to face with Corvi, scored the equalizer. The 1-1, however, lasted only ten minutes, as in the 80th minute Pontus Almqvist took the lead to restore the yellow-blues’ lead: Elphege launched the Swede, who first jumped Marcandalli and then struck Bijlow to seal the 2-1. The final assault of the Ligurian team, led above all by Vitinha, was unsuccessful and the ducals celebrated their first victory in the championship. By virtue of this success, Parma rises to 4 points in the standings, while Genoa, still without a win, remains stuck at 1. After the break the Emilians will face Inter at the Meazza; the Ligurians, for their part, will await Fiorentina at Ferraris.
