On 20 October, at the Regional Administrative Court of Catania, we will not only discuss the appeals against the famous fifteen South calls North lists. Although the main expectation is for the affair which could also lead to a new, sensational commissionership of the Municipality, that day there will be another electoral appeal, due to a dispute entirely within the centre-right. It is the one that had taken center stage during the verification work by the Central Electoral Office, when for days there was a “dancer” seat, contested by the League and the Brothers of Italy. In the end, the Carroccio won the dispute, with a difference of around twenty votes, thus gaining the second seat, in addition to that of Amalia Centofanti, electing Cosimo Oteri to the city council. Debora Buda paid the price for Fratelli d’Italia, who, however, did not give up and, relying on the lawyer Antonino Criscì, filed an appeal, contesting Oteri’s election.
