More flames in the middle of the night in the Upper Tyrrhenian area of Cosenza. In fact, between Friday and Saturday, a fire that broke out a few minutes before midnight almost completely destroyed a car – a Peugeot – parked in a main street of the Tyrrhenian town, near some residential complexes.
The firefighters of the Scalea Detachment immediately arrived on the scene, engaged in operations to put out the flames for about two hours, and the carabinieri of the Scalea Company. The military personnel, after the necessary technical investigations, have started investigations to trace the origin of the fire with certainty, even if there seems to be little doubt about its malicious nature. The same police also listened to the owner of the car, an eighty-three year old man, visibly shaken by the incident, together with his family members, checking the presence of security cameras near the site of the fire, in order to identify the possible perpetrators of the gesture.
