The Russian Foreign Ministry has once again “recommended” foreign citizens and diplomats to leave Kiev and not travel to Ukraine. Izvestia reports it.
The Russian armed forces, the ministry warned, “will continue to carry out massive retaliatory attacks on military sites in Kiev and other Ukrainian cities.”
The Foreign Ministry, the Tass agency reported, clarified that “the responsibility for any negative consequences for those remaining in Ukraine will fall entirely and totally on those who ignore this warning.”
Moscow, he recalled, had already invited citizens to leave Kiev and Ukraine on May 25th.
Odessa, a merchant ship hit: a sailor killed
Russian forces “hit a civilian merchant ship flying the Liberian flag in one of the ports of the Odessa region”, a raid in which one sailor died and three others were injured: the Ukrainian port management authority announced via Facebook. Overall, we read in a statement, 13 members of the boat’s crew “were evacuated and taken to a safe place”.
According to what was underlined by the Ukrainian authority itself, it was “yet another deliberate attack by the Russian Federation against civil navigation”.
