There is an agreement between the president of CONI, Luciano Buonfiglio, and that of the Football Federation, Giovanni Malagò, which provides for the appointment of the FIGC as commissioner with the role of commissioner entrusted to Malagò himself. A step which was also confirmed by the CONI national council which unanimously indicated Giovanni Malagò as commissioner of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC). Now the ratification is up to the National Council of CONI which will meet at 2 pm. Previously the president of CONI, Luciano Buonfiglio and Malagò himself, who spoke on the phone yesterday and today had a meeting lasting about 20 minutes, had reached an agreement on the commissionership.
