In Calabria the mobilization is intensifying again after yesterday, with demonstrations continuing indefinitely and new adhesions from traders.
Fresh produce trucks stopped, stocks decreasing in supermarkets
The stoppage of trucks transporting fresh products continues, with effects on supplies: in several supermarkets, especially fruit and vegetables are starting to run out. In the last few hours the protesters have expressed their desire to strengthen the mobilization, announcing the total blockade on October 30th.

Meanwhile, participation in the protest is expanding. Several commercial establishments have decided to close to take part in the demonstrations in the area. In the province of Vibo Valentia, shutters are lowered and traders are present at ongoing initiatives. Some mayors are also expressing solidarity with the protesters. During the night, the President of the Calabria Region Roberto Occhiuto met the demonstrators at the Falerna garrison, near the junction of the A2 Mediterranean motorway.
