Ailing budgets, failures, pre-disasters and rebalancing plans to be carried forward, but also increasingly fragile majorities, absent councilors and administrations grappling with political crises that risk further complicating an already delicate financial framework.
It is a situation that unites several centers on the Cosenza coast, from Fiumefreddo Bruzio to Guardia Piemontese, passing through Amantea and Paola.
In Paola, after the collapse that ended in 2017, in 2020 it was possible to halve the negative parameters of the structural deficit (bringing them to two). Today they are back to four. The Municipality has been remodeling the rebalancing plan for several months but the road to recovery remains tortuous. There would be some objectives that have not yet been achieved. The deficit in Paola exceeds 17 million euros. And in these days we are facing another crisis: that of the majority with the councilor Ivan Ollio who has asked for the elimination of the Council.
