The greater initiative of the rossoblù is not enough: what decides is the quality of Chiricò’s last pass, which in the 34th minute frees Grandolfo for the goal. Greco’s team looks for space on the wings, but rarely reaches a clean conclusion. In the first half Barcella was among the most active, without finding the target. The second half opens with a serious carelessness by Armini, exploited by Chiricò: Merelli saves. Crotone then had the chance to break the deadlock with Zunno, who shot just over from a good position in the 62nd minute. Greco changes three men in the 27th minute, but Casarano passes seven minutes later. The reaction is as concrete as it is late: Ruggiero serves Russo, on whom Farroni makes a great save. In injury time Tordini shoots high and the guest goalkeeper himself blocks a touch from Merelli’s heel. For Crotone, another match marked by the gap between initiative and incisiveness.
