A lighting pole collapsed and landed on a ceramist from Seminara. The 60-year-old was in Pizzo for the traditional All Saints’ Fair. From the first reconstruction, it would seem that the pole was affected by the installation of the lights and the weight would probably have caused it to collapse. It happened a little while ago in Piazza della Repubblica, and the mayor Sergio Pititto was going directly to the scene. The alarm was immediately raised and help was provided immediately: an ambulance from 118 and the air ambulance which, after stabilising him, transported the injured man to the Pugliese Ciaccio hospital in Catanzaro.

Checks follow to ascertain the dynamics of the facts. In fact, the carabinieri of the local station are also taking an interest in the matter.
