The “start” signal is set for 7am this morning, the night break at 11pm today, then tomorrow, always from 7am until 3pm, the last window, before the final gong, the one that will lead, ballot after ballot scrutinized, to the most awaited response: who will be the next mayor of Messina? Or, alternatively, will a runoff be necessary in two weeks to find out? After months of high tension, the Saturday of electoral silence was the antechamber to the decisive moment, that of the ballot box.
