Green Disco to the executive project for the new purification plant that will rise to Cirò Marina. A work of extraordinary meaning that focuses on a significant decrease in the environmental impact, allowing the tourist town of Crotone, to face with greater serenity and less risks, both the summer period and the harvest season, in what is the Calabrian homeland of the wine industry. The presentation of the project by the team of professionals who developed it, creating it in Bim, a 3D model integrated with the physical, performance and functional data of the construction, took place yesterday afternoon in Catanzaro, at the Cittadella headquarters, in the presence of the Subcommissary at the Tonino Daffinà purification, the Rup Antonio Stranger and the mayor of Cirò Marina and President of the Province of Crotone, Sergio Ferrari. The system, which will rise in the area adjacent to the current one, will allow to treat a load of 28 thousand equivalent inhabitants and therefore will be enough to face the flourishing summer and autumn, due to tourism and wine activity. An absolutely priority aspect, if you think that the current plant, which stands in the adjacent area, precisely in those phases of the year it is systematically in crisis, determining many inconveniences for the population.
The intervention, whose total cost exceeds 10 million euros, provides for the enhancement of the purifying capacity and a new functional scheme of the two treatment lines, with the reduction of smells and noises as well as with mitigation works that allow the insertion of the infrastructure in the urban context in which it is located.
The project presented by the company, by the technicians of the Subcommissarial structure and already before the summer, the tender should be held shortly. The goal is clear: to deliver the works and open the construction site by the beginning of next year.
The new purifier looks with great attention, especially for his peculiarities, the subcommissary Antonino Daffinà, I have highlighted “how, on the purification front, we are trying to bring some municipalities of extraordinary importance out of the community infringement procedure of the European Union 2014/2059, without neglecting any detail.
