Rome. Despite a less than brilliant performance and a little too much suffering at the end, Roma managed to beat Sassuolo. At the Olimpico stadium it ended 1-0 thanks to a nice goal from captain Pellegrini at the start of the second half, with the Giallorossi also saved by a post ten minutes from the 90th minute. After the draw in the league with Fiorentina and the painless European knockout with Brighton, De Rossi's team immediately returned to winning ways, once again closing the game to -3 on fourth place Bologna. Ballardini's men, on the other hand, fresh from the success against Frosinone, suffer a new defeat, remaining in the relegation zone. First half devoid of emotion. At the start of the second half Roma managed to break the deadlock thanks to a gem from their captain Pellegrini. In the final, Sassuolo came close to equalizing with a pole truck from Svilar.
