This morning, around 0, a team of the firefighters of the Provincial Command of Catanzaro intervened on Viale De Filippis, near the underpass of via Gioacchino da Fiore (entrance to the city of Catanzaro), following a road accident that involved two cars, a Fiat Panda and a Citroën.
The driver of the Fiat Panda was seriously injured and was extracted from the sheets by the firefighters staff. The man was subsequently entrusted to the health personnel of Suem 118 for the first care and the transfer to a hospital.
On board the Citroën they traveled a mother with two children, who suffered slight injuries and bruises. They too were transported to hospital for investigations and further checks. The local police intervened for the obligations of competence and for the management of the road network, which has undergone temporary inconvenience.
