The nurse on duty at the 118 station of the Acre hospital had a small quantity of cocaine on him. The man was stopped by the police during an inspection and transferred to the police station in Cosenza for further investigations. The drug was found during some checks carried out yesterday afternoon inside the health facility. The search inside the premises was carried out with the support of canine units precisely to verify the presence of narcotic substances in the first emergency rooms of the Sila town. At the end of the inspection, a small quantity of white powder was found on a nurse on duty at the station. This was enough to transfer the man to the police station in Cosenza for the continuation of investigations on the substance found during the checks and to also verify its origin. The investigators will also have to ascertain the position of the nurse to clarify any possible responsibility.
