The Labor Department of the Calabria Region and Unindustria Calabria strengthen their synergy and institutional interaction by signing a memorandum of understanding aimed at promoting active labor policies in the area.

The actions of the agreement concern three specific areas.
The cooperation activity intended for the effective implementation of the Padel-Piano of the active labor policies, to be worth on the pr Calabria Fesr-Fse+ 2021-2027, which provides for a series of interventions divided into four thematic areas (incentives for self-entrepreneurship; incentives for employment; training and skills; services for work).
Unindustria Calabria undertakes to collaborate with the Calabria Region to: promote the comparison in relation to the implementation and implementation of the actions and measures provided, in order to identify more effective terms and methods; put in place actions for promoting and disseminating the initiatives provided for by the Plan, as well as support for the implementation of the same; carry out a monitoring and verification activity on the impact of the actions and measures of the plan on the regional productive fabric; Promote structured moments of comparison in order to evaluate the results of the monitoring activity on the effectiveness of the initiatives adopted on the regional production fabric and identify any corrective improvement actions.
The Calabria Region and Unindustria Calabria undertake to activate a territorial monitoring system aimed at verifying the compliance of the contents of the regional repertoire of qualifications and skills on the Calabrian production fabric, with the following objectives: analyze the existing training courses and verify its adherence to the needs of local companies; identify any training gaps and propose the integration with new paths, consistent with local production needs; encourage the meeting between demand and supply of work through the collection and analysis of data on the skills requested by companies and on the availability of adequate professional profiles; Promote connection initiatives between the training system and the entrepreneurial fabric, through technical tables, workshops and professional orientation tools.
In addition, the collaboration will also concern the implementation of the Mirai-together project, we create the future, for the start of short-lived professional training courses intended for students of the fourth and fifth classes of secondary schools in Calabria.
Specifically, unindustria, in synergy with the Calabrian employment centers, will promote information and orientation meetings with young people, in order to: give young people the opportunity to know the business world and promote business culture; transmit to young people the basic economic concepts and entrepreneurial spirit; show young people how they can better prepare for the working future in order to adopt conscious choices compared to their aspirations and vocations and real opportunities and requests; coming from the world of work; create direct contacts and encourage constructive dialogue between school and businesses; to make schools known to the school with respect to the different addresses, the activities and specificities present in the provincial educational system.
