The primaries represent an essential participation tool, capable of bringing citizens closer to politics and restoring centrality to those who, in recent years, have felt excluded from decision-making processes. A fundamental theme for us is that of youth participation. Boys and girls who have reached the age of 16 can also go to the polls in the primaries. A courageous and far-sighted choice that restores political dignity to a generation too often relegated to the margins of public debate.”
