Have also been deposited in Calabria The lists of candidaters with mayor and the council in the municipalities – about twenty – in which they will vote on 25 and 26 May. Of these, only four exceed 15 thousand inhabitants and can therefore go to the ballot on 8 and 9 June: Lamezia Terme (Catanzaro), Rende, Cassano Jonio (Cosenza) and Isola Capo Rizzuto (Crotone). In Lamezia Terme three challenges between Doris Lo Moro, candidate for mayor of the center -left, Mario Murone, candidate for mayor of the center -left, and Gianpaolo Bevilacqua, independent candidate for mayor: in total 14 lists presented. In Rende, where we return to the vote after the commissioner of the Municipality due to the dissolution for mafia infiltrations, the overall lists filed are 18, distributed for five mayor candidates: Sandro Principe, former mayor of Rende in the past, supported by six lists, Marco Ghionna, supported by the center -right, Giovanni Bilotti, supported by three lists, including that of the PD but without the symbol of the party, Rossella Rossella Gaos (M5S) supported by two lists and Luciano Bonanno (a list). In Isola Capo Rizzuto there are three candidates for mayor: the outgoing mayor Maria Grazia Vittimberga, supported by four civic lists, Maurizio Piscitelli, supported by four center -right lists, and Andrea Filici, supported by the list of the Democratic Party of which he is the city secretary. Also in Cassalo Ionio there are three candidates for mayor: Antonello Avena, independent, supported by a single list, Carmen Gaudiano, supported by three lists and considered an expression of the outgoing mayor Gianni Papasso, and Gianpaolo Iacobini, indicated by Forza Italia and supported by five lists.

The seats will be open on Sunday from 7 to 23 and Monday from 7 to 15. In the meantime, the municipal offices involved will guarantee extraordinary openings for the presentation of the lists: Friday 25 April from 8:00 to 20:00 and Saturday 26 April from 8 to 12.
