“Find the differences!”. So Alessandro Borghese jokes on social media, posting an irresistible photo next to the famous Riace Bronzes. Between the two symbolic statues of Magna Graecia, the most rock chef on TV poses with his usual irony and adds: “Spot the differences!”.
The joke immediately won over fans and lit up social media, where many dubbed it the “third Riace bronze”. Long hair, proud pose and casual jacket: the comparison comes naturally.
But the visit to the National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria is not just a tourist stop. Borghese is in the city to shoot a new episode of his successful program “4 Restaurants”, dedicated to Calabria and the gastronomic excellence of the area. Between sea and mountains, the chef and host will discover the flavors of Reggio, between tradition and innovation, celebrating the cuisine that has always conveyed the authentic and hospitable character of the region.
Between one tasting and another, Borghese wanted to pay homage to the two most famous warriors of the Mediterranean with a post that combines irony and Italian pride. And, judging by the comments, the fans have no doubts: “Chef, you are the most contemporary bronze of all!”.
