Andrew Tate, the former Anglo-American kickboxing champion and well-known misogynistic influencer by his own definition, was sent to trial together with his brother Tristan and two Romanian citizens by the Romanian justice system for rape, human trafficking and forming a gang criminal for the sexual exploitation of women.

All accusations that Tate and the other accused deny. This was announced by a Bucharest court, which however does not yet provide a start date for the trial. The defendants announced that they had already appealed.

We read it in various media, including CNN. The two were arrested for the first time in Romania in December 2022 and have been under house arrest since April 2023. In 2022 Tate was betrayed in December 2022 by a bluster: he launched into a furious and provocative exchange of messages with the activist Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, to whom he boasted about how polluting the sports cars he drove were, Andrew showed himself on video devouring a slice of pizza that he had had delivered to his home. From the address written on the cardboard, clearly visible in the post, the Bucharest police traced back to his home and the arrest was made.
