The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be particularly special for two Scuderia Ferrari drivers: first and foremost Carlos Sainzwho will be in his last race with the team before his move to Williams (which will begin as early as Tuesday in the post-season test session).

For the Spaniard there is therefore one more reason to close in style an adventure that lasted four seasons and which brought him and the team four victories, six pole positions and 24 podiums.

The other driver who was particularly emotional when leaving the pits at Yas Marina will be Leclerc, not Charles, but his brother Arthur, born in 2000, who will be called upon to replace Sainz in the inaugural free practice session. It will be the first time in history that two brothers take to the track in the same session with the same team.
Arthur will also be on track on Tuesday for the post-season tests, when he will alternate with Antonio Fuoco on one of the two cars, while Charles will be on the other.

No “red” for Fire

The Calabrian Antonio Fuoco, originally from Cariati, had been in the running to occupy the single-seater in Abu Dhabi, but at the moment the dream has faded.
