Aprilia dominates qualifying for the Dutch Grand Prix in Assen, conquering an entire front row. The pole position was achieved by Jorge Martin, who preceded the Aprilia Trackhouse of the Japanese Ai Ogura and his teammate and world championship leader Marco Bezzecchi.
Fourth position for the other Aprilia Trackhouse of Raul Fernandez, while the first of the official Ducatis is that of Francesco Bagnaia, fifth. World champion Marc Marquez was seventh, riding the other official Ducati.
Alex Marquez, however, will not take part in Q2. The Gresini Ducati team rider, despite the ninth time obtained in the second free practice, decided to stop after yesterday’s fall to recover for the next sessions. He will start from twelfth position. The Sprint Race is scheduled for 3pm.
