Intense day of solidarity and remembrance tomorrow ad Arenawhere, in the presence of his mother, Drava Viola, and relatives, the “Daniele Vive” association will be presented to the citizens, a voluntary association in memory of Daniele Breganzethe twenty-three-year-old carabiniere on duty at the local station who died on April 29 following a road accident while returning to Palermo, his hometown. Mrs Viola herself will illustrate the reasons and aims, including a series of educational projects in schools, with a series of initiatives planned for the morning. Starting with a meeting with the students, at 10.30 am, in the town complex, in the “Berrina” district. Afterwards, the mother of the unfortunate boy will be welcomed into the town hall, where she will illustrate the same topics to those present. In the afternoon, at 5.30pm, however, a memorial mass will be held in the parish church, where the associations, mayors and parish priests of the area, colleagues from the arena and the command of Serra San Bruno, and the brotherhoods will be present.
One of the aims of the association is to spread Daniele’s love for children and the weakest in society, with a series of voluntary donations that aim to increase care and education and to provide basic necessities to the most disadvantaged children . An initiative of this kind has already been implemented three months after his death, when the carabiniere’s relatives wanted to donate a smart TV and a refrigerator to the pediatric oncohematology department of the Palermo civic hospital. The newly formed association proposes these and many other projects which will allow Daniele and his charitable soul to continue to live on.
