The operational service of the Trebisacce fire brigade detachment has begun, with the entry into service of shift D. Giancarlo Catavero, provincial secretary of UIL FP firefighters of Cosenza, welcomed the start of the garrison. «It is an important moment for the entire Upper Ionian Cosentino and for all the communities that will be able to benefit from a closer and more timely presence of the rescue service», declares the union representative.
The path to the opening of the headquarters
Catavero underlines how the result arrives at the end of a long and complex process, supported by the commitment of the trade unions, the attention of the institutions and the contribution of the political component. «The launch of the Detachment represents a significant step for the safety of citizens. It is important to recognize the value of the work carried out by all parties who, with different roles and sensitivities, have contributed to achieving this objective, long overdue by the territory”.
