A man arrested after being found in possession of a narcotic substance.
Yesterday the Volante, while carrying out a checkpoint in a well-known city street, stopped a car arriving at high speed. The driver of the vehicle, in order to evade control, accelerated instead of stopping and tried to move away. The officers then launched a chase, managing to block the vehicle. From a careful check, it was ascertained that the subject had numerous police records; a personal search of the vehicle was carried out, following which two wraps of cocaine were found, a substance also found in the home of the man who was therefore placed under house arrest.
