A subsidiary company that finally has its accounts in order and can afford to make investments, thanks to greater revenues and dividends. It is the framework of the municipal services company of Taormina, illustrated in the city council at the time of the presentation of the 2024 financial statements, approved by the ten majority councilors with the vote against of Nunzio Corvaia and the abstentions of Marcello Passalacqua and Lucia Gaberscek of the minority groups.
The councilor of the Participates, Giuseppe Sterrantino, announced in broad terms the results achieved in local public transport extended to the district, in taking charge of waste management and in the new services introduced, which produced an operating result of 1,020,000 euros, of which 51,016 placed as a legal reserve and 969,320 distributed as a dividend to the Municipality (single shareholder), in addition to 30,679 euros of profit of the 2023 for a total of one million euros paid into the coffers of Palazzo dei Giurati.
