Assumptions and Pnrr, ok to Orsomarso’s amendment: “Result for the South and Calabria”

«The FdI amendment – approved yesterday evening in the Finance and Budget Commission, of which I am the first signatory, included in the “DL Omnibus”, containing provisions that strengthen the management-organizational capacity of the Public Administrations – allowing the hiring of essential personnel in the Municipalities for the expenses linked to the Pnrr, it obviously has a very important aspect, especially for the South and Calabria”. Thus the Calabrian senator Fausto Orsomarso, commented on the unanimous favorable opinion of the Senate commission which is examining, reviewing and voting in forced stages on the government decree law. As part of a large package of measures intended for Local Authorities, relating to rules to accelerate spending capacity, especially for the Pnnr measuresthe text proposed by the representative of FdI was accepted, which also incorporates the many reports coming from Municipalities and Cities on the most obvious critical issues encountered so far, at a management level, due to lack of technical personnel: delays in responding to requests for changes in projects and in QE, lack of responses or delays in responding to queries, delay or failure to disburse advances and in checking accounts. «The Calabrian municipalities, as is known, experience enormous difficulties and the gaps in the workforce, especially in the more specialized technical roles, are a crucial negative factor that penalizes our Local Authorities both in the planning and implementation aspects, and not only in the Pnrr obviously. Orsomarso – precisely meets the needs of citizens who have the right to have efficient administrations that can implement good governance of the territories concerned”
