The 22nd edition of the Magna Graecia Film Festivalscheduled from 26 July to 2 August next to Soveratowill launch A new section entirely dedicated to the best debuts in the world of short cinemastrengthening the mission of a project that has always been dedicated to the enhancement of young talents. A further piece resulting from the collaboration with the Picentia Short Festival of Battipaglia which will lead to the MGFF – on the occasion of two special evenings – the best of its selection of short films, national and international, hosted over the last few years in the context of the event that animates the Campania territory with projections, meetings and masterclasses dedicated to short film.
An opportunity that confirms the synergy between two realities united by the same mission: to discover, support and enhance the talents, offering visibility and opportunities to put innovative ideas and emerging languages of contemporary cinema on the net. The artistic direction of the new section is entrusted to Luca Capacchionefounder and director of Picentia Short Film Festivalflanked by the technical direction of Jacopo Curcioyoung professional already active in the field of cultural and cinematographic events. For the event there is a support of the entire Act Production team, a reality that has been taking care of the organization of Picentia for years and promotes events and productions in the film and cultural sector.
