The city of Reggio Calabria – red stamp for the heat in recent days – has equipped itself to face the waves of heat, one of which is scheduled for this weekend. Reggio, in fact, is part of the network of Italian cities which has established a “hot plan”. Over the weekend in the city there are temperatures perceived up to 34 degrees with yellow stamp.
On the portal of the body, at the address, www.reggiocal.it, a specific page informs citizens on the heat waves, through a link connected with the Ministry of Health. On the same page the various levels of risk II behaviors to be kept in relation to each level are listed, which ranges from level 0, green, up to level 3, red. For the elderly, who are the subjects most exposed to the risk deriving from too high temperatures, the indications for taking the most appropriate behaviors.
