Atalanta returns to winning ways after two consecutive defeats. The Nerazzurri win 3-2 in a comeback against Fiorentina thanks to goals from Retegui, De Ketelaere and Lookman. The Viola goals from Martinez Quarta and Kean, who had twice given Palladino’s team the lead, were useless. It is the second success in the championship for the Nerazzurri, who will return to the field on Thursday against Arsenal in the first match of the new Champions League. The Viola team, still without a victory, will instead challenge Lazio in the next championship match.
After a good first half, the Tuscan team will absolutely have to react to the drops in tension that have characterized the start of the championship. The first quarter of an hour had led to the hypothesis of a blocked, dull game, with little emotion. Then suddenly the first goal of Fiorentina blew the cork: Martinez Quarta, after a melee generated by the developments of a corner kick, found the winning deflection. The hosts reacted immediately with a header on the run by Retegui, but around the half hour mark, Kean, diving, rekindled the hopes of Palladino’s team.
The Goddess took the blow, the former Juventus striker even hit the post, almost scoring the 3-1. The reaction at the end of the first half by Gasperini’s men was incredible, in the space of two minutes first De Ketelaere with a header – on a free kick by Ederson – and then Lookman managed to turn the score around. In the second half the Nerazzurri raised the pace trying to exploit the advantage and Bellanova almost scored the poker after a mistake by Martinez Quarta. The Bergamo team tried several times with Lookman, but the Nigerian striker was unable to find the right move: Fiorentina, on the other hand, after playing a good first half, was unable to give continuity to the offensive maneuver, creating little or nothing near Carnesecchi. The first match in the new, completely renovated Gewiss Stadium therefore ended with a victory: on Thursday the Nerazzurri fans will be able to experience another dream evening in the match against Arsenal.

You expect a charging Toro, instead it is the “wolves” who come close to victory. Lecce bites its hands because it finds itself in the path of a Milinkovic-Savic in the mood for great saves. Inaccuracy by the Giallorossi seasoned with an amazing form by the Vanoli goalkeeper. The final 0-0 is explained like this. The first chance is for Torino. Ilic, in the 5th minute, for Ricci who hits badly and the ball ends up high. Lecce plays openly without any fear. In the 9th minute, a stone shot by Krstovic that goes just wide. Berisha tries to tickle Milinkovic-Savic and almost succeeds. The injured Vojvoda comes off, the Salento team continues to hammer their opponents. Cross by Berisha for Krstovic’s head, Milinkovic-Savic is ready (27′). Identical situation in the 33rd minute with the same outcome. In the 35th minute, Morente almost scores, again with a header. Two minutes later, a violent shot by Krstovic ends up just wide. In the second half, Lecce is still on the attack.
In the 4th minute Gallo, two minutes later Morente came close to taking the lead. The Spaniard claimed a penalty while Torino gained meters and Rebic left the scene. In the 22nd minute Lecce were one step away from scoring when Krstovic sent a ball on which Milinkovic-Savic was superb. The assist had been Morente, one of the best on the pitch. Two minutes later (24th) the duel was renewed with the Torino goalkeeper the absolute protagonist. In the 28th minute Coco made a desperate save on Krstovic who was about to shoot on goal. In the final minutes Baschirotto came close to scoring an own goal while Lazaro saved on Pierotti and Krstovic who (41st) were racing towards the Granata goal. Lecce continued to attack but the score remained unblocked and the point went to the Granata, who caught up with their “cousins” Juventus at the top, while the Salento team left amidst a storm of applause from their fans.
