The Review Court has released the lawyer and former senator of FI, Giancarlo Pittelliinvolved in recent days in the investigation into fraudulent bankruptcy which led the criminal lawyer from Catanzaro to house arrest.
At the center of the investigations conducted by the Guardia di Finanza are the corporate maneuvers for the construction, which never took place, of a tourist complex in Copanello di Stalettì, for which in 2004 public financing of over 4 million euros was obtained with the Por. The work never materialised, therefore, and the funds disbursed (only in part, around 880 thousand euros) were never returned to the Region despite the requests sent after the initiative was stopped in 2009.
