Also in Reggio, with extraordinary participation, the 37th edition of the UISP Bicincittà national event took place, In collaboration with the Provincial Committee of Reggio Calabria represented by Giuseppe Marra, and organized, as always, by the Tennis Padel Crocitti Circle. An event that took place in 65 Italian cities and which, year after year, continues to unite sports, environment and sociability in an atmosphere of celebration and sharing.
The path, as usual, not competitive, saw different generations pedal together: from children to grandparents passing through parents, young people and adults and even organized groups that have come from all over the province. A real colorful and smiling caravan has crossed the streets of the city, demonstrating once again how strong the desire to live Reggio Calabria is in a healthy and sustainable way.
All participants were delivered the Bicelletta of Bicincittà 2025 with hat and backpack and then … starting whistle and start of the ride. The now consolidated route developed throughout the Falcomatà promenade continuing to Piazzale Botteghelle, where the participants were able to take advantage of a stop, and then resume the route coming to Piazzale Pentimele, for a second stop/refreshment, and thus conclude again in Piazza Indipendenza, therefore considered both the point of arrival and the departure.
To conclude the day, one of the most anticipated moments: the final draw. An opportunity to reward participants with original, nice and, why not, tasty gadgets. A real gem that has always made Bicincittà not only a sporting event, but a real city party.
