“Blues and surroundings” starts again, with Max Garrubba in the first episode the musician Antonio Andaloro

Second season of “Blues and surroundings” with new guests and many new features. The program, hosted by Max Garrubba, who will lead us, once again, through new musical paths, interesting columns and blues stories told by old and new artists with the inevitable musical performances and jam sessions. The first episode will take place at the ancient millstone of Roccavaldina, one of the most evocative villages in Peloritani and will feature the “globetrotter of music” Antonio Andaloro, an eclectic musician of international caliber, with great experience and musicality. He will tell us, in music and words, during a chat with the Sicilian bluesman, travels, anecdotes, curiosities that have seen him as the protagonist, around the world, over the course of many years, of an adventurous career.

Accompanying him are two exceptional musicians: Massimiliano Parisi on drums and percussion and Andrea Messina, a very young double bass player from Milazzo. A special surprise will be the Turkish dancer Nilgun Onart, who has returned specially from Istanbul for the occasion. One of the new features of the program will be the column dedicated to vinyl, with another surprise guest interviewed by Antonella Romeo, the voice of Antenna dello Stretto. At the end of the episode, the guest musicians’ jam session with Max is unmissable, to travel, once again, to the rhythm of the blues.
Instruments, notes, dance, exciting life paths, jam sessions, for a series of events not to be missed. The direction is by Roberto Travìa and the filming by Alessandro Gheza. “Blues and surroundings” will be broadcast every Wednesday on Rtp (Ch 19) at 3.15pm, 9pm and 11.15pm.
