This afternoon, at 4pm, in Messina, in Piazza Unione Europea, a demonstration in favor of the Bridge. «There will be no party flags», according to the intentions of the organizers, but the «testimonies» of citizens, associations, social and economic realities who strongly support the work considered «strategic for the employment and productive relaunch of the South and of the country, for employment stability, towards modernity, against depopulation and infrastructural underdevelopment».

The initiative was born from a local committee made up of various territorial associations and movements, trade unions (Cisl, Ugl, Cisal, Unsic, FIsmic, National Union of Entrepreneurs and Farmers), Confartigianato Trasporti, in addition to the many committees born spontaneously. Also taking part in the initiative, according to the organizers themselves, are Confindustria, Sicindustria, UnionCamere, Ance, Confagricoltura, Anita, Federbeton, Fipe, Italian Road Transport Federation, Italian Transport Federation, Confartigianato Trasporti, Trasportounito, Assotir, Fiap Autotrasportatori.
