Calabria, “Abraham” dispute: 100 Fibercop employees relocated

Last Thursday, the second monitoring meeting relating to the Abraham Customer Care dispute was held at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy (Mimit), after the previous meeting of 13 May. At the table the representatives of the national and regional secretariats of SLC-CGIL, FISTEL-CISL and UILCOM-UIL the company RSA, the representatives of Konecta, Abraham CC, TIM and Fibercop, the Calabria Region and the Sicily Region.

“Konecta illustrated the progress of the digitization project of healthcare folders – reports the unions -, underlining that about 100 workers previously employed on the Fibercop activity have been relocated to this new activity, due to a significant drop in traffic. An relocation carried out for the same work, which therefore increased the pressure on the new project. The secretariats of Calabria SLC-CGIL, FISTEL-CISL and UILCOM-UIL, absent at the previous meeting, motivated the drop in recorded traffic, quantified in -7%, compared to the beginning of the year, as a physiological phenomenon. He also specified that, between the two suppliers involved in the management of failures, Konecta still holds the largest share “.
