Cosenza remains “prisoner” of contracts with Alvini and Delvecchio

The season after relegation has not yet begun but the clues do not excite the fans of Cosenza. The chaos seems to reign.
Only a change of ownership could give new life to the environment. But big uncertainties remain that the situation can unlock. From the announcement of a negotiation close to being defined, over a month has passed: evident signal that the negotiations have been at least slowed down or proceeded wrapped in difficulty.
Meanwhile, time flows and some decisions should still be made. Stay motionless is equivalent to an act of irresponsibility. Because if it is true that, on paper, the rossoblù have both a DS and a coach, it is equally certain that everyone would like to start again with another project after the worst season of history burns in Serie B.
Solving the contracts of Delvecchio and Alvini has a cost and this is obviously not good news for a club that has expressed more than some economic unease. The long stall phase, therefore, could be the move designed by Eugenio Guarascio to lower the claims of the two during the negotiations for the termination of their respective contracts, in the event that for the sports director and coach should emerge important proposals.
The chances that the two remain at their places with the current property or a new one remain few. It would be a choice that is difficult to explain (not that Guarascio has ever imported something to clarify the two unpopular decisions) with a square that already sides and half of the next week will overlook the city center to express its discontent once again.
Then there is a squad to compose. And here too a general escape is looming because those who lived the last few years by Crati are fully aware of how difficult it is to play in a hostile environment. After the relegation in the tournament concluded a year ago, with a team that will hardly be built to aim for the summit, none or almost of the elements under contract beyond June 30 would like to continue to tie its name to that of Cosenza.
