Today in the Regional Council the bill n.362/12^ of the Regional Council has been approved containing: “Rules for the fight against gender -based violence” which replaces, repealing it, the regional law 21 August 2007 n. 20 containing provisions for the promotion and support of anti -violence centers and reception houses for women in difficulty. At the outcome of the illustration of the law, of the initiative of the third commission -Sanity, President Occhiuto underlined, citing the case of Seminara, as existing today a certain ostracism of the communities against those who report and the need to identify more and more forms of protection of the victims of crime.
The regional councilor Sabrina Mannarino (Fdi), also a lawyer, declares: Mannarino enters in detail to underline the legislative and substantial importance of the measure:> an important law that marks a great step forward for our region in gender protection.
