«We knew that in Calabria the percentage of Brothers of Italy would inevitably be lower than the national average, due to a series of objective factors. First of all, the driving effect of President Occhiuto, who catalyzed a lot of consensus on the Forza Italia lists. Furthermore, in this legislature, Fratelli d’Italia has not been able to count on administrative levers or delegations with significant resources: we have taken on responsibilities in complex sectors, but without direct spending instruments. It has never been our habit to build consensus through customers, but through work, coherence and the courage of choices. However, I must highlight that Fratelli d’Italia is the center-right party that gains the most in comparison with the 2021 regional elections, with an increase of 3 percent and 22 thousand more votes.”
