The hearing at the Calabria Regional Administrative Court is scheduled for February 11th, but lawyers and those aspiring to a seat in the Regional Council are already working to refine strategies in view of the appointment before the administrative judges. What happened two days ago in Puglia strengthens their “hopes”. The former governor and leader of Avs Nichi Vendola was in fact the excellent “loser” of the electoral round in that Region. The result achieved by the Greens and Left Alliance determined their exclusion: just over 4% but insufficient, based on the electoral law which calculates the percentage based on the votes of the president and not of the coalition, to win a seat.
And it is precisely this principle that some of the promoters of the appeals are now appealing to. This is the case of Giusy Iemma (Pd), Michele Comito (Occhiuto President), Franco Sarica (Lega) and Francesco De Nisi (Reformist House).
