On paper a pensioner. In fact – according to the Carabinieri investigators and the magistrates of the Locri Prosecutor’s Office – a “grower” of Indian hemp. By virtue of a precautionary custody order under house arrest issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Locri, Dr. Federico Casciola, following the request made by the Locri Prosecutor’s Office, the Carabinieri of the Roccella Company arrested a 70-year-old pensioner from Camini, DM.
The man had ended up at the center of a detailed investigation that began following the discovery, last August, of an Indian hemp plantation made up of around 120 marijuana shrubs between 60 and 290 centimeters high and therefore almost close to cutting, processing and packaging thousands of doses of “weed”.
