A few days after Francesco Serra’s proclamation as mayor, the new administrative team that will lead Castrolibero in the coming years officially takes shape. «A council built on skills, enthusiasm, dedication and a strong sense of belonging to the territory, ready to immediately get to work to face the administrative challenges of the city», we read in the note sent by the Municipality. After Mayor Serra, the first piece of the new municipal council is represented by Deputy Mayor Raffaella Ricchio, who has been entrusted with the mandates for Social Services, Public Education and the Budget. An extremely important role also for Angelo Gangi, first elected, appointed councilor with delegations to Public Works, Litigation and Culture, strategic sectors for the planning and development of the territory. Emilia Aiello, appointed councillor, is instead entrusted with a broad package of skills which includes Urban Planning, Library, Entertainment and Leisure, Equal Opportunities, General Affairs and Productive Activities.
Another central figure of the new administrative team is Ilio Perri, councilor with responsibilities for Neighborhood Associations and Committees, Family and Senior Citizen Policies, Stray Animals, Youth Policies, as well as Community Surveillance and Security.
Alongside the council, the mayor Francesco Serra has given specific collaboration tasks to the city councilors. Claudio Caputo will follow Socio-Health Policies, Sport and Wellbeing; Angela Perrotta will deal with Taxes and Demographic Services; Maura Zinna will have expertise in the fields of Historic Centre, Digital and Ecological Transition and Environment; while Giuseppe De Bartolo will take care of relations with the institutions and with the ANCI.
