It all seemed very simple because Catanzaro made it easy. The 3-0 against Sudtirol is the product of a strong match already in the first half thanks to Pontisso’s third goal of the season and Iemmello’s fifteenth brace for the Giallorossi (the first goal pure magic, the second from the penalty spot). Game, goals, enthusiasm and zero suffering: a lot of stuff in one go, what was needed after almost two months and five matches without a full house, among other things on the eve of the close and very difficult away match at home to league leaders Pisa, scheduled for Wednesday evening. The standings are still very short and the championship is a quarter of the way through, but this success finally removes the Eagles from the cursed playout position.
